ECONEX HORSEFLY TRAP.

ECONEX HORSEFLY TRAP:

is recommended for the detection, monitoring and trapping of a wide range of horsefly species, using the appropriate attractant for the target insect, ECONEX HORSEFLY ATTRACTANT 60 DAYS (attractant not included).

It is an inverted funnel type trap made of UV resistant plastic polymer. It is composed of an inverted green funnel and a transparent lid which is attached to the funnel by means of a bayonet fitting. A flexible plastic structure similar to a large truncated cone is placed in the inverted funnel, and in the centre of this flexible structure, a ball inflated like a balloon hangs on a metal hook. The trap can be hung due to a steel cable at the top of the inverted green funnel.

TRAP ACTIVATION:

Place 1 to 3 traps per hectare. The trap is activated by placing the pheromone diffuser ECONEX HORSEFLY ATTRACTANT 60 DAYS inside the inverted green funnel.

APPLICATIONS:

The trap is designed for catching horseflies outdoors. It can be placed in: farms, stables, horse meadows, equestrian enclosures, riding clubs, cow stables, golf courses, lakeside and riverside parks, etc.

PERIOD OF USE:

These traps can be active throughout the year and should be present two to three weeks before the insect flies.

PRODUCT STORAGE:

ECONEX HORSEFLY TRAP should be stored in their original packaging in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight. It has an average shelf life of 2 years in the field.
