ECOBIRDNEX^® is an ecological vibrating ribbon with acoustic and optical effects that provides effective protection against birds. It does not require any maintenance and is also totally effective and inoffensive.

It is one of a kind, given that the birds –unlike other systems– do not get used to the changing acoustic and optical effects.  It does not bother the neighbours at all.  It also vibrates with the lightest breeze, producing gentle sounds and movements that change constantly which the birds cannot tolerate.

HOW TO USE

Install the scarecrow ribbons before the birds can damage the harvest fruits.  Place the ribbon in sections of 4 – 8 metres with any type of support, securing it by twisting the ribbon two or three times around each peg, making sure it is tightened to avoid spirals, until completing the necessary length.

HEIGHT

Position the ribbons with a separation of 90 cm from the ground for low crops.  In small groves or vineyards always place the ribbon on top of the crops to assist the movement of the wind.

DISTANCE BETWEEN THE RIBBONS

Install the ribbons with a separation of approximately 9 metres for gardens and small fields, and 25 metres for larger areas.

TECHNICAL OBSERVATIONS

The ECOBIRDNEX^® scarecrow ribbon is more effective by placing it directly facing the wind. Where greater protection is needed, the ribbons can be placed closer to one another or overlap at different heights. For better preservation, it is recommended to use round pegs with a plastic plaster to avoid rubbing against each other.

These instructions are only a guideline and various tests are recommended to obtain optimum results in the area of application.
