CROSSTRAP® WET COLLECTION CUP (with slider) 2 L

Collection cup for wet catches, located at the bottom of CROSSTRAP^® traps.

The wet collection cup has approximately a 2 litre capacity (12,5 cm diameter x 19 cm height) and is provided with drainage in the upper section to prevent it from filling with rainwater.

Wet catches allow the precise identification of insects. It is therefore recommended to fill the collection cup with 10 ml of propylene glycol diluted to 10 or 20%, or if applicable, use automobile antifreeze. This liquid serves both to kill catches as a preservative, provided it is not diluted too much rain, in which case it should be replaced. It is recommended at least fortnightly collection of catches.
